Atherton Market – Small Business SaturdayNovember 19, 2014 5:19 pm
The events kick-off at 9:00am at Atherton Market (2104 South Blvd) and at Triple C (2900 Griffith) with the opening of the Shop Micro Local pop-up shop. Atherton Market is open every Saturday at 9:00am, and between the Roots Food Truck and Not Just Coffee – it is truly the way to start a day of shopping.
So what makes this Saturday special? At 10:45am we’re striking up the band in preparation for the delivery a Mayoral Proclamation making Saturday, November 29th “Small Business Saturday” throughout Charlotte. We have two very special guest who will deliver these words – City Councilperson LaWana Mayfield and NC General Assembly member Becky Carney. Not just committed to small business one day a year, both of these women are political supporters of small businesses throughout the year.
So while you’re there eating some great food from Roots, drinking some darn good coffee and connecting with local leaders – Shop Small!! The Holiday Trolley will be leaving every 30 minutes to stops on Camden Road and the Shop Micro Local pop-up shops. Of course, you can also shop the great spots at Atherton Market and Atherton Mill! Savory Spice Shop, Ferguson, Vin Master and others are all brick-and mortar retailers located there. In the market… there’s everything else from soap to pickles and terrariums to pottery – there are unique gifts for everyone on your list. Click on the links for each to discover more about the individual vendors. If you do – you’re certain to come out and Shop Small on Small Business Saturday!
