ABOUT FLOWER CHILD + GOOD OF THE HIVE: Flower Child is a Fox Concepts Restaurant (based in Phoenix, Arizona) the healthy, happy eatery opened in Charlotte in July of this year. In addition to delicious, nourishing food, Flower Child is known for their vibrant design and brightly-colored murals and always takes great care to commission local artists. Matthew Willey is a NC-based artist who discovered a fascination with bees by happenstance (a bee landed in his studio and he studied it for hours). What really drew Willey to bees was their connection to one another. His art is meant to both share the important cause of bees (they pollinate everything!) and inspire human connectivity much like bee’s connectivity to each other. He is currently on a mission to paint 50,000 bees in murals around the world. and your family to join us!
