South End Wine Fest to benefit Classroom CentralOctober 15, 2019 1:45 pm
The BOB-award winning South End Wine Fest, hosted by Greystar, is Saturday, October 19, at 308 W. Carson from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm. In addition to the main gig on Saturday, a mouth-watering selection of offerings all week give you plenty of chances to learn about great wines. The best part? Ticket proceeds benefit Classroom Central, the local nonprofit that gives public school teachers the resources they need to help their students learn.

Wine and Paint Night at the Collector’s Room
For $35 admission, enjoy an evening of wine, live music and painting your very own masterpiece in the Elder Gallery’s new event space.
Thursday, October 17, 6:00 – 9:00 pm
Wine & Culinary Journey at Zeppelin
Join Chef Vince Giancarlo and wine experts from around the country as Zeppelin hosts a night of wine and food pairings. These $40 tickets are going fast!
Friday, October 18, 6:00 – 9:00 pm
Wine Fest Eve Dinner at Angeline’s
Boasting an impressive wine collection, Angeline’s opens its doors for a night of wonderful food and wines hosted by Executive Chef Robert Hoffman and sommelier William Farquharson. Tickets are $90 and include six courses.
Sunday, October 20, 11:00 am – 3:00 pm
South End Rosé & Mimosa Festival
Head to Hoppin’ to keep the party going. The $30 admission includes tastings of rosé, cider from Red Clay Ciderworks and mimosas. Also on offer: brunch jams from DJ DOMii and brunch dishes from Twisted Eats by Kre8.
Free Cart Ride will be in the neighborhood for the festival. Wave, call or text 704-238-3111 for a lift; rides are free, tips encouraged.
